Mattes offers the most extensive color range and customization options in the industry, plus features that genuinely benefit your horse: real sheepskin that regulates temperature and wicks moisture naturally, open gullet channels that prevent spinal pressure, and multiple wither height options to accommodate different conformations and saddle fits. If you can envision it, Mattes can probably build it. The quality is exceptional, the fit is precise, and they hold up to serious work.

When timing matters, Ogilvy delivers in 2-3 weeks with solid color selection and excellent quality (I own two myself). Some colors are only available through Ogilvy, making them the right choice for specific color matches or when you're working against a deadline.
Ogilvy also makes matching ear bonnets - if that's your preference, their bonnets are the best quality available.
