Sweet Billy's Bits got its start several years ago when I was helping a clinician with a colt starting clinic. One of the horses was extremely sensitive around the mouth and would happily take a lead rope "bit", but would fight and refuse to accept a metal bit. I had made myself a simple leather o-ring not long before that after being inspired by a picture on the internet. When the filly readily accepted the leather bit and was exceptionally responsive to it, I knew we were on to something. The clinician and one of her helpers requested a leather bit on the spot.
Since then, there has been a lot of refining, learning, and nothing short of a few miracles to help get Sweet Billy's Bits to where it is today. We ship world wide and have had "Sweet" results in several different countries including the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and the Arabian Emirates.
